Your passwords are encrypted on your device before anything is sent to the server. The server only ever stores ciphertext — it has no way to read your data.
Encryption is handled by a key derived from your master password and stored securely in your browser. No one else — including the server — ever sees your key.
Because the server never knows your master password, there is no password reset or account recovery. Keep your master password somewhere safe.
